Although the 'mas world' seems to be quiet to the general public, there is LOTS going on behind the scenes.  I am usually sworn to secrecy and it kills me but what I CAN say is that this year everyone has something to prove.  They've all pulled out the guns and they're smoking!  Miami Carnival 2016 will be a killer and I for one, can't wait.  

Gen X Red Antz Jouvert is actually the first band to buss my carnival cherry for the season.  Yes, they are a jouvert band but hell, it's a band, it's a band launch and to me...jouvert is just as much about carnival as the pretty mas.
