KUDOS TO YOU ABBY!
This breakfast boatride is 'what I'm talkin about'!
If you have ever been in Trinidad and Tobago THE DAY after carnival Tuesday (Ash Wednesday) you would know that the music takes a drastic turn from Soca to Reggae/Dancehall/Dub. It all starts from about October/November time, the music gradually changes from the same said Reggae/Dancehall/Dub over the radio to the traditional Christmas parang and an introduction to the new soca chunes. They drop around that time too to see how the people of the country feels about the 'new soca' for the upcoming carnival. By the time carnival time hits the radios are playing soca FULL SWING!!!
But to the die hard soca junkies, its kinda hard to just get that music taken away just like that, in a one. This breakfast cruise is promising SOCA, its a new level of winery!!!!! Soca for a mature crowd. As advertised, it is a chance to relive carnival again.
Real talk, any chance to relive ANY carnival experience is always a good one and this is a MUST for the carnival/soca lovers!
*This will be a GREAT warmup for those going to TRIBE's band launch later on that night!
